What is it? |
This is a Yahoo Group setup so that anyone in the group can e-mail a message to everyone in the group at once. For example, if John wanted to announce a coffee get together at his house he could send an e-mail to "adams_rib@yahoogroups.com" and everyone who is subscribed to the group will get an e-mail about it. The list is private and only those in the group can view e-mail addresses. |
How to I sign up? |
Signup is simple. Go to the subscription page on the Young Couple's web-page. Fill out the form and select subscribe. You will receive an e-mail asking to confirm that you wish to subscribe. Reply to the e-mail that you receive and you will be subscribed to the group. If you no longer wish to receive e-mail from the group come back to the subscription page and select unsubscribe with the e-mail address that you signed up with. |
How do I send a message? |
To send a message to everyone subscribed to the group simply send an e-mail to adams_rib@Yahoogroups.com. Whatever you e-mail to this address will go out to anyone subscribed, including yourself. You can only send to this list if you are subscribed to it. This keeps spam out. Please try to keep the postings relevant to the list and not send humor, virus warnings, etc. Thanks!! |
Why does it ask me to log in when I try to view the calendar or address book? |
By subscribing to the e-mail list you are not a member of the adams_rib Yahoo group. You can send e-mails to the group and receive any e-mails sent to the group, but you will need to join the group with a Yahoo ID to view the calendar and address book. To join the Yahoo group you must have a Yahoo ID. Create a Yahoo ID or use an existing one and then go to http://groups.yahoo.com/adams_rib and select "Join this Group". |
