Taught by Gary Vanderet and team
October 16 - December 4, 2005
9:45 - 10:55 a.m. in Room 205
If you have children aged 10-18 and have ever asked yourself, “What does it take to be an effective parent of a teenager?” then this class is for you. Its purpose is to provide a safe place for parents to grow and find support in the skill of raising their adolescent children. Along with providing encouragement through sharing, prayer and small group interaction, we will discuss what it takes to be an effective parent of a teenager, using Kevin Huggin's Parenting Adolescents as a resource. There are no pat answers or easy formulas, but we hope to grow in our understanding of what it means to live lovingly and biblically with our teenagers.
